Ingredients:

Before we start baking, we gather a few simple ingredients — fresh oranges, eggs, flour, and sugar — the beginning of a soft, homemade cake that smells like sunshine

  • 4 fresh eggs

  • 180 g sugar

  • 160 g freshly squeezed orange juice

  • 140 g sunflower oil

  • 350 g all-purpose flour

  • 1 sachet baking powder

 

Preparation

We start by whisking the eggs and sugar together until light and fluffy

Sunflower oil and freshly squeezed orange juice are slowly added, bringing moisture, fragrance, and a bright citrus flavor to the batter

Flour and baking powder are gently added, slowly transforming the liquid mixture into a soft, smooth batter.”

Everything is gently mixed together until the batter becomes smooth, creamy, and perfectly blended

The batter is now silky, smooth, and ready to be poured into the pan

Pour the smooth batter into the lined pan, level it gently, and get ready to let the oven work its magic

After baking, the cake turns beautifully golden, soft and fragrant — ready to be sliced and shared
